Speaking and Events

On The Road

I’ve been speaking in public on and off for years, and started doing so more frequently in 2012. Since then it has been my privilege to speak, paint, and even occasionally play guitar and sing, to audiences across the UK, USA, Dubai, Latvia, Australia, Spain, Portugal, and Prague.

In 2016 I made a conscious decision to fully integrate the story of my art as a means to engage communities in the widest sense, and to look for events which feel truly creative, and which encourage and challenge me to tell open, honest stories. This approach is one I’ve thrown myself into wholeheartedly. I laugh and sometimes cry along the way like never before, and I am sincerely grateful to everyone who supports me on these artistic adventures.

I speak at conferences, and with organisations around the world about curiosity, community, art, uncertainty, and wellbeing, and how we can use these things to make work better. You can read feedback from some of these talks here, and take a look at slides and images from previous talks here on Slideshare.

Here is a short video of me speaking in Louisiana and London about putting people back at the heart of work.

Here is a short video of me talking about collaborative learning, and what it means to me.

And if you’d like a little more, here’s a ten minute session on The Art of Resilience.
