We’ve just been out to our local Christmas light switch on – brrrr it’s cold outside! This new piece of elemental art represents the onset of winter, and will be my next free art drop. Icelandic Art
We recently spent a few days in Iceland – what an amazing place! The geology and geography felt very in tune with my elemental art, and I made a free art drop while we were in Reykjavik, this piece is titled ‘Glacier’.
I also made this piece. Initially I was contemplating fire and ice – but what I’ve ended up with is more like an elemental art version of the Icelandic flag!
Winter Ice
I am continuing to adapt the elemental art idea. I recently blogged about Autumn Fire, and this new collection, titled Winter Ice – is a variation on that theme. I painted these images overlaying various shades of acrylic paint, finished with silver leaf.
Winter Ice : I and II are sold. Winter Ice : III was left as a piece of free art in Reykjavik.
